Damazy Posadzki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Arkadiusz Smolarek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Katowice i Kluczbork's Arkadiusz Smolarek got control of the ball when Patryk Snaza tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 42 in the game by Pawel Kochanowski from a close distance when the talented Arkadiusz Smolarek managed to make a qualified save. Katowice i Kluczbork's players were relieved. Dimo Toresano hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Katowice i Kluczbork were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after The Irons Chorzów's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edson de Lima took the corner. After taking down the ball on Katowice i Kluczbork's corner Dimo Toresano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Piotr Lech quite easily take care of the ball. In the 71st minute Katowice i Kluczbork were awarded a corner. Edson de Lima went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Edson de Lima got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Piotr Lech quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 73rd minute Pawel Kochanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Smolarek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute The Irons Chorzów were awarded a corner. Patryk Snaza went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Alfred Babicki managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some careless play in the Katowice i Kluczbork defense, Alfred Babicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arkadiusz Smolarek. The Katowice i Kluczbork fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arkadiusz Smolarek should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Posadzki in the 85th minute of play forced Katowice i Kluczbork's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Smolarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwidon Niedbalski struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Piotr Lech didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Katowice i Kluczbork. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldinho Lewandowski during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Katowice i Kluczbork's Osvaldinho Lewandowski got a free kick in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Katowice i Kluczbork's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Posadzki came free, but Arkadiusz Smolarek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
