In the 19th minute Mariusz Zgonina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Olejarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of KS Piastów Sosnowiec booed when INTER Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Nordstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stelian Joldea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximilian Stålman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Tomasz Piwko made a huge save. In the 41st match minute, KS Piastów Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcin Snaza to maneuver through the defense. Alekos Voreadis hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes INTER Sosnowiec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomasz Gorski who took care of the corner kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Bror Nordstedt made the kick off in the second half. Maximilian Stålman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Piwko having to interfere. Hieronim Winszman hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Tomasz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ethan Mbappè in the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Stålman came free, but Tomasz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
