Michael Iurisch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Majerowicz in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match KKS Lech Poznań got a corner. Jagiellonia Bialystok's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bogdan Raschke ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Zenon Kosakowski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 7th match minute, Jagiellonia Bialystok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kryspin Praski to maneuver through the defense. Michael Iurisch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Majerowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the Jagiellonia Bialystok defense, Miromir Majerowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Iurisch. The Jagiellonia Bialystok fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Iurisch should have stopped the shot. Michael Iurisch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Raschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Fryderyk Hajto put in a rough tackle. Fryderyk Hajto kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Józef Mlynarczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Sienkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Józef Mlynarczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Praski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tytus Kisielka fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jagiellonia Bialystok's protests and gave Tytus Kisielka a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jagiellonia Bialystok getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tytus Kisielka hit a great ball. Mateusz Sakowicz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Michael Iurisch firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dariusz Praski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Józef Mlynarczyk having to interfere. Józef Mlynarczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Praski in the 97th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jagiellonia Bialystok had won after a very even match.
