In the 14th minute, Arrigo Trinca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Anthony Meza took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Miroslaw Majtyka to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fotis Katramados got free with Miroslaw Majtyka in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Fotis Katramados sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miroslaw Majtyka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute Arrigo Trinca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franciszek Lerych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fotis Katramados stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Radomir Anszczak got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Karl-Ove Hägert kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Rein Keerme was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, one of FC Dwa Do Ósmej:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Dwa Do Ósmej. With an all-out effort, B&B Jelenia Góra's Franciszek Lerych threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arrigo Trinca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Miroslaw Majtyka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fotis Katramados, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. B&B Jelenia Góra's Miroslaw Majtyka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Meza in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincent Szotek in the 70th minute of play forced FC Dwa Do Ósmej's goalkeeper Franciszek Lerych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Fotis Katramados cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Miroslaw Majtyka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Witomir Gajewski was substituted for Fotis Katramados. FC Dwa Do Ósmej made a substitution. Wincent Szotek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franciszek Lerych read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Wincent Szotek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Franciszek Lerych came out and tried to block the shot, but Wincent Szotek slotted it home off the left post making it 6-3 in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as B&B Jelenia Góra's Wincent Szotek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Franciszek Lerych. That made the score 6-4 after 87 minutes of play. 92 minutes into the match, Anthony Meza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miroslaw Majtyka. B&B Jelenia Góra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthony Meza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-4. Franciszek Lerych made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wincent Szotek in the 97th minute.
