Gert Altorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Quan Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Hønning's goalkeeper Gert Altorn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Betinho Rodrigues. Fillip Knutstad hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Victorino Fanuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Betinho Rodrigues's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gert Altorn firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Nørbjerg in the 34th minute of play forced Seed Town West's goalkeeper Einar Klysnov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hønning's Gert Altorn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Quan Peng in the 36th minute of play. Gert Altorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytaç Sözen in the 39th minute of play. Gert Altorn made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Betinho Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. Hønning's Gert Altorn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Quan Peng in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Seed Town West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Hamade to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John-Arne Riise to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Hønning got a corner. Seed Town West's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laurids Hvenekilde ran over to the corner to take the kick. Laurids Hvenekilde made a great header on Hønning's corner, it was just that Seed Town West's Einar Klysnov managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 58th minute, Torben Steenhede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match Mai Quan Peng shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gert Altorn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 60th minute Mai Quan Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Altorn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Betinho Rodrigues in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gert Altorn saved Hønning from getting behind. Gert Altorn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mai Quan Peng's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mai Quan Peng in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gert Altorn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Seed Town West made a substitution. Gregers Kumler replaced Kenney Højerby. If Laurids Hvenekilde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Seed Town West's Fillip Sivananda got a free kick in the 71st minute. Gert Altorn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Vøge in the 74th minute of the match. Fillip Sivananda's late challenge caught a Hønning's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fillip Sivananda helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Seed Town West got a freekick which was hit by Fillip Sivananda. Dan Vøge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gert Altorn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurids Hvenekilde made a great header on Hønning's corner, it was just that Seed Town West's Einar Klysnov managed to reach the ball for a save. Gert Altorn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Vøge in the 84th minute of the match. Dan Vøge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gert Altorn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Seed Town West failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
