Gert Altorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Snel in the 3rd minute of play. GFG VOEL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andreas Pirlo in the 4th minute. After taking down the ball on GFG VOEL's corner Andreas Pirlo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gert Altorn quite easily take care of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, GFG VOEL's Benny Snel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gert Altorn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Hønning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olav Blommegaard to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hønning's goalkeeper Gert Altorn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gert Altorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Snel in the 15th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Olav Blommegaard in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GFG VOEL's 邵扬桦. Rupert Vadgaard struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Gert Altorn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GFG VOEL. 22 minutes into the match, GFG VOEL's Benny Snel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gert Altorn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by John-Arne Riise in the 24th minute of play forced GFG VOEL's goalkeeper Sonni Fjøle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Rupert Vadgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind GFG VOEL's goalkeeper Sonni Fjøle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hønning's Laurids Hvenekilde was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sonni Fjøle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Per Nørbjerg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Sonni Fjøle made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, GFG VOEL's Benny Snel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gert Altorn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute of the match GFG VOEL got a corner. Hønning's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andreas Pirlo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 41st minute, Olav Blommegaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benny Snel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gert Altorn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Sonni Fjøle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Nørbjerg in the 46th minute. After the first half GFG VOEL were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benny Snel made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Hønning's Mikael Kandil got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gert Altorn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benny Snel's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hønning's goalie and right to Rupert Vadgaard. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hønning's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, Hønning's Gert Altorn got control of the ball when Benny Snel tried to sneak it across the goal line. GFG VOEL's Ali Perker was substituted for Rupert Vadgaard. In the 68thth minute of the game Benny Snel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hønning's Gert Altorn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sonni Fjøle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Nørbjerg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Benny Snel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Hønning getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Tiago Silva hit a great ball. If John-Arne Riise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. GFG VOEL's Timo Lanng was substituted for Guillelme Casuso. In the 83rd minute, Askild Ene hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, GFG VOEL's Benny Snel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gert Altorn. Gert Altorn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After 90 minutes of play, GFG VOEL's Benny Snel made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gert Altorn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benny Snel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gert Altorn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The Hønning supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GFG VOEL's performance. The match ended with a win for GFG VOEL.
