The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Alzamendi got free with Petter Eirod in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sletteenge's Jacob Lubfeldt was substituted for Timo Mangelsen. Ibrahim Svolgart's late challenge caught a Saco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 96th minute of play forced Sletteenge's goalkeeper Petter Eirod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Saco FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
