Donato Bordon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Resentvig in the 6th minute of play. Phillip Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Servet Turabi in the 9th minute of play. 庞辉响 hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Peter-Jan De Brouwer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Donato Bordon made a huge save. The audience was convinced that 庞辉响's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Phillip Glerum was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. With a little luck, Esbjerg fB's Donato Bordon got control of the ball when Peter-Jan De Brouwer tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mourits Wermelin during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saco FC reached it. Esbjerg fB's Donato Bordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malam Drage in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Esbjerg fB defense, Linus Resentvig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Bordon. The Esbjerg fB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Bordon should have stopped the shot. Donato Bordon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Malam Drage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Bordon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 于震树 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Bordon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malam Drage in the 36th minute. Donato Bordon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peter-Jan De Brouwer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. When Esbjerg fB's Servet Turabi in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saco FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Servet Turabi sped through Saco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Phillip Glerum. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Linus Resentvig stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Donato Bordon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malam Drage, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Esbjerg fB's goal looked a bit too open when Malam Drage came free, but Donato Bordon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Peter-Jan De Brouwer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 72nd minute Peter-Jan De Brouwer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Bordon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malam Drage in the 73rd minute of play forced Esbjerg fB's goalkeeper Donato Bordon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Esbjerg fB's goal looked a bit too open when Malam Drage came free, but Donato Bordon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esbjerg fB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter-Jan De Brouwer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Donato Bordon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 84th minute of play. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Saco FC from getting a goal against them. Linus Resentvig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Bordon having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Saco FC's Peter-Jan De Brouwer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Bordon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 94 minutes into the match, Peter-Jan De Brouwer notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Esbjerg fB's Donato Bordon. Donato Bordon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Esbjerg fB players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Saco FC.
