Børge Buhr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torjus Solvoll having to interfere. After some careless play in the Gettrup SIK defense, Rene Rostholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torjus Solvoll. The Gettrup SIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torjus Solvoll should have stopped the shot. Rene Rostholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torjus Solvoll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Rene Rostholm made a precise shot to the right of Torjus Solvoll. Gettrup SIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Keld Popp came free, but Nichlas Vesterdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Gettrup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Loui Dyndgaard. In the 33rd minute of the game Walentin Stammerjohan made a throw-in which Keld Popp played forward. Rene Rostholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torjus Solvoll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll got control of the ball when Rene Rostholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nichlas Vesterdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loui Dyndgaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torjus Solvoll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Rostholm in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zenon Gall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Børge Buhr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes of play, Randers A.F.C.'s Rene Rostholm made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torjus Solvoll was left in no man's land by his defense there!
