Strib Galacticos IF were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Skovbølling's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Urbano Cevallo took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Andres Oper heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Bertel Foltmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Oper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Oper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Oper got free with Bertel Foltmann in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 43 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Mike Tyson. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andres Oper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Hagbard Ribov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertel Foltmann was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Strib Galacticos IF's Well-Well Wing was substituted for Ros Endal. In the 85th minute, Andres Oper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute Andres Oper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertel Foltmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lin Lang Bang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Hasan Fuleager made a huge save. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Kay Harsbøll with Michael Blisted as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 92 minutes into the match, Andres Oper notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Skovbølling's Bertel Foltmann. Bertel Foltmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Strib Galacticos IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Skovbølling for a fine match.
