In the 12th match minute, Renegades was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balder Buurskov to maneuver through the defense. Vlad Pâslaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kristoffer Kildeskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 minutes, Waldemar Frænkel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Renegades and the Strib Galacticos IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Oper got free with Yoto Boshikyov in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andres Oper scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yoto Boshikyov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 30 minutes, Kristoffer Kildeskov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Renegades's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristoffer Kildeskov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Oper got free with Yoto Boshikyov in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Andres Oper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute Andres Oper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoto Boshikyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Oper made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Sigvart Botlev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Oper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoto Boshikyov having to interfere. Kang Ting Qing hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of Renegades booed when Strib Galacticos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kang Ting Qing didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Renegades's goal looked a bit too open when Hagbard Ribov came free, but Yoto Boshikyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yoto Boshikyov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Oper in the 77th minute of the match. Andres Oper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yoto Boshikyov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. The corner led Strib Galacticos IF's Mike Tyson to fire away a dangerous shot which Yoto Boshikyov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Andres Oper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
