The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anders Havreland firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kris Boolsen kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Lavindsgaarde FC's Gotfred Leismann got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lavritz Sommur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Gotfred Leismann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Strandsgaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lavindsgaarde FC booed when Amager FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Leerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Amager FC defense, Gotfred Leismann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenneth Strandsgaard. The Amager FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth Strandsgaard should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lavritz Sommur in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth Strandsgaard saved Amager FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Amager FC's Marvin Leerberg got a free kick in the 35th minute. Kenneth Strandsgaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gotfred Leismann, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Kenneth Strandsgaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gotfred Leismann in the 42nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Amin Rostvold's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anders Havreland was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Amager FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gotfred Leismann came free, but Kenneth Strandsgaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Lavindsgaarde FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lavritz Sommur in the 51st minute of play forced Amager FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Strandsgaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Havreland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amin Rostvold in the 55th minute of the match. Lavindsgaarde FC's Anders Havreland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amin Rostvold in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Bertel Olson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenneth Strandsgaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gotfred Leismann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Timmi Egstrand fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amager FC's protests and gave Timmi Egstrand a yellow card for diving instead. 69 minutes into the game, Amin Rostvold cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Anders Havreland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amager FC's Daniel Agger was substituted for Anders Gjalbech. Amager FC's Konrad Baunfeld was substituted for Sigvald Maya. Amager FC's Samuel Bitsch was substituted for Amin Rostvold. Gregorius Kurte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenneth Strandsgaard having to make a save. Kenneth Strandsgaard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gotfred Leismann in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes Lavindsgaarde FC got a freekick which was hit by Eg Flensburg. Anders Havreland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Bitsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th match minute, Lavindsgaarde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertel Olson to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavindsgaarde FC's goalkeeper Anders Havreland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Samuel Bitsch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anders Havreland was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After 93 minutes, Konrad Baunfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amager FC and the Lavindsgaarde FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Konrad Baunfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Lavindsgaarde FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
