Floriana Celtics's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matt Sciortino in the 33rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Kyle Thake got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dmytro Zhak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Floriana Celtics fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Floriana Celtics's Kyle Thake looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Floriana Celtics played a much better game than Philadelphia Union FC and deserved their victory. The Philadelphia Union FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
