Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kyle Thake took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Floriana Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt Sciortino to maneuver through the defense. Richard Lentini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Gierlach in the 5th minute of the match. Richard Lentini came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Vershina ESPN's Cyprian Gierlach. But to his dismay, Cyprian Gierlach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Richard Lentini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Domenec, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Charles-Antoine Carnevalli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Thake in the 11th minute of play. FC Vershina ESPN's Charles-Antoine Carnevalli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Thake in the 12th minute of play. Richard Lentini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Gierlach in the 15th minute of the match. When Kyle Thake came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Floriana Celtics fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyle Thake couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Thor Eriksson made a precise shot to the right of Richard Lentini. Floriana Celtics's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of FC Vershina ESPN booed when Floriana Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Stivala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristides Domenec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Lentini having to make a save. Richard Lentini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Gierlach, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 43 minutes into the game, FC Vershina ESPN's Cyprian Gierlach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Lentini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyprian Gierlach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Cyprian Gierlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Lentini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Floriana Celtics's Richard Lentini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Floriana Celtics from getting a goal against them. Charles-Antoine Carnevalli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Dawiec in the 57th minute of the match. Floriana Celtics made a substitution. Robby Baggio replaced Olgierd Dawiec. Kyle Thake blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles-Antoine Carnevalli having to make a save. Edward Ellis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles-Antoine Carnevalli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Thake in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Eriksson came free, but Richard Lentini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes FC Vershina ESPN got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Domenec. In the 92nd minute, Aristides Domenec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Bailey took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles-Antoine Carnevalli. Charles-Antoine Carnevalli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Vershina ESPN eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
