Jerzy Ranowiecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgio Caruana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 19 in the game by Lu Xi Xun from a close distance when the talented Richard Lentini managed to make a qualified save. Floriana Celtics's players were relieved. The supporters of POGRADECARI FK booed when Floriana Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godwin Montesin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Lentini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Přemysl Dusil in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Jean Carl Testaferrata Moroni Viani had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 29 played minutes POGRADECARI FK got a freekick which was hit by 孙梁威. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, POGRADECARI FK's Přemysl Dusil got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Richard Lentini. Richard Lentini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Xi Xun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godwin Montesin in the 36th minute of play forced POGRADECARI FK's goalkeeper Jerzy Ranowiecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Lu Xi Xun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Lentini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, POGRADECARI FK's Lu Xi Xun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Lentini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Glapiak came free, but Richard Lentini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Floriana Celtics's Gabriel Vella got a free kick in the 41st minute. Jerzy Ranowiecki came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Floriana Celtics's Kyle Thake. But to his dismay, Kyle Thake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Zula Glapiak might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Lentini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zula Glapiak ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, 孙梁威 managed to get in a good position for a shot. POGRADECARI FK's supporters rose to their feet, but 孙梁威 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Lentini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. POGRADECARI FK's Jerzy Ranowiecki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save POGRADECARI FK from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olgierd Dawiec got free with Jerzy Ranowiecki in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute Kyle Thake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Ranowiecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Floriana Celtics's Kyle Thake in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye POGRADECARI FK's goalie prevented a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Glapiak came free, but Richard Lentini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zula Glapiak took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Lentini. Richard Lentini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Kyle Thake struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Jerzy Ranowiecki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floriana Celtics. Floriana Celtics's Edward Ellis was substituted for Giorgio Caruana. Jerzy Ranowiecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Ellis, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Glapiak came free, but Richard Lentini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Lentini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Přemysl Dusil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, POGRADECARI FK's Jerzy Ranowiecki got control of the ball when Robby Baggio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Richard Lentini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Xi Xun in the 92nd minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
