The corner led Black horses's Toma Chinkov to fire away a dangerous shot which Horacio Zarricueta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Black horses's Valdis Felbergs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Milla in the 9th minute of play. Valdis Felbergs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Johnsson in the 11th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Shymkent Camels's Horacio Zarricueta got control of the ball when Cipriano Sauveur tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Cipriano Sauveur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shymkent Camels's Horacio Zarricueta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Sauveur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horacio Zarricueta was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 67th minute Cipriano Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Zarricueta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Shymkent Camels defense, Marco Assendelft kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horacio Zarricueta. The Shymkent Camels fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horacio Zarricueta should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Black horses had won after a very even match.
