Dragos Enicov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aivils Aiza, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Huang Jie Peng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute Ajax Academy were awarded a corner. Ruslan Plesca went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinholds Jaunzems in the 29th minute of play forced Ajax Academy's goalkeeper Dragos Enicov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes of play, Ajax Academy's Antonio Cacciatore made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jānis Lielais was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to SK Annenieki getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Indris Tomass hit a great ball. When Ruslan Plesca fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ajax Academy's protests and gave Ruslan Plesca a yellow card for diving instead. Ruslan Plesca kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When Ajax Academy's Antonio Cacciatore in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Annenieki's goalie prevented a goal. Jāzeps Pics recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Cacciatore in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Ajax Academy's goalkeeper Dragos Enicov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Indris Tomass. The corner led SK Annenieki's Indris Tomass to fire away a dangerous shot which Dragos Enicov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jānis Lielais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Yan Bin in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huang Jie Peng in the 65th minute of play forced SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th match minute, Ajax Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Carabulea to maneuver through the defense. Ajax Academy made a substitution. Jānis Lielais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Cacciatore in the 83rd minute of play. Antonio Cacciatore scored 2-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jānis Lielais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Vilis Lettlands got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Antonio Cacciatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jānis Lielais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute Ajax Academy were awarded a corner. Iosif Ciubuc went to the cornerflag to take it.
