Fernando Negro might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Aritza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Negro ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Seraċini Għawdxin's Samuel Griffin got a free kick in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Truseni's zone, Fernando Negro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Aritza came out of the goal and Fernando Negro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th match minute, Seraċini Għawdxin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Song Wei Yun to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's Fernando Negro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anibal Aritza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernando Negro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Anibal Aritza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anibal Aritza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Negro went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Filip Bejrut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
