The audience thought a goal was coming when Indris Tomass got free with Horacio Zarricueta in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sebastian Milla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th match minute, Shymkent Camels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Johnsson to maneuver through the defense. If Indris Tomass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Johnsson in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of SK Annenieki booed when Shymkent Camels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Donecea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Horacio Zarricueta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indris Tomass in the 62nd minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Shymkent Camels got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Zonta. 66 minutes into the match, Shymkent Camels's goal looked a bit too open when Reinholds Jaunzems came free, but Horacio Zarricueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christer Johnsson in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jānis Lielais saved SK Annenieki from getting behind. Ingus Rencis hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. SK Annenieki's Vilis Lettlands was substituted for Indris Tomass. SK Annenieki made a substitution. A collision led to SK Annenieki getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Vilis Lettlands hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Shymkent Camels's Jiang Cheng Peng got a free kick in the 89th minute. Reinholds Jaunzems hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Shymkent Camels were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant SK Annenieki side.
