An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulius Rožėnas in the 12th minute of play forced Eagle FC's goalkeeper Cătălin Gârniceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eagle FC's Cătălin Gârniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mar Cheze in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Hexo Utd booed when Eagle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sahit Bajrami didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hexo Utd's Mar Cheze couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Eagle FC. Mar Cheze scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cătălin Gârniceanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cătălin Gârniceanu came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Hexo Utd's Adolfo Brandão. But to his dismay, Adolfo Brandão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Adolfo Brandão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Gârniceanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulius Rožėnas in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cătălin Gârniceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cătălin Gârniceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulius Rožėnas's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Mar Cheze struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Cătălin Gârniceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hexo Utd. Cătălin Gârniceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mar Cheze in the 36th minute of the match. Hexo Utd were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Eagle FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mar Cheze took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Paulius Rožėnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hexo Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulius Rožėnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Gârniceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Eagle FC's Arenc Tefa got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute of the game, Karl-Johan Wallin landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Virgil Stănoiu charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgil Stănoiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Eagle FC's Virgil Stănoiu got a free kick in the 46th minute. Adolfo Brandão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Vilmantas Kalinauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cătălin Gârniceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hexo Utd's Paulius Rožėnas in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eagle FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cătălin Gârniceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Brandão in the 55th minute of the match. Hexo Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mar Cheze in the 56th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Eagle FC's goalie and right to Vilmantas Kalinauskas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Eagle FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Mar Cheze sped through Eagle FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cătălin Gârniceanu. If Miglius Simonaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Vilmantas Kalinauskas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Cătălin Gârniceanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute Miglius Simonaitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Gârniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mar Cheze did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Cătălin Gârniceanu 78 minutes into the match. Paulius Rožėnas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Mar Cheze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Cătălin Gârniceanu made a huge save. With his leg Cătălin Gârniceanu managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Hexo Utd's Mar Cheze fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cătălin Gârniceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miglius Simonaitis in the 92nd minute of the match. Paulius Rožėnas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulius Rožėnas in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cătălin Gârniceanu saved Eagle FC from getting behind. Hexo Utd's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
