With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandru Nastac in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matheus Toscano saved G.R. from getting behind. Alexandru Nastac struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Matheus Toscano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Akademia Maliqi. Timoteo Lucero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamar Vang in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Olsi Berberi fired a really elegant long shot, but Matheus Toscano threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. When Akademia Maliqi's Alexandru Nastac in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 25th minute of the match Akademia Maliqi got a corner. G.R.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emmanuel Urruti ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Karl Beck heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 27 minutes into the game, Calvin Strohmayer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. G.R.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akademia Maliqi the free kick. In the 28th match minute, G.R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Strohmayer to maneuver through the defense. Alexandru Nastac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus Toscano having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Alexandru Nastac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G.R.'s Matheus Toscano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Guguh Saepuloh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Timoteo Lucero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Timoteo Lucero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Snir Nachum in the 46th minute of play. Durim Ndoja's late challenge caught a G.R.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Durim Ndoja helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Durim Ndoja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The audience was convinced that Alexandru Nastac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matheus Toscano was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 58thth minute of the game Alexandru Nastac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G.R.'s Matheus Toscano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Karl Beck put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Matheus Toscano. Akademia Maliqi's Ivón Echavarri was substituted for Oran Tahiri. Matheus Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Nastac in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, G.R.'s Zion Mauda got a free kick in the 77th minute. Ivón Echavarri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matheus Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Nastac, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Vitoldas Dovydaitis put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Akademia Maliqi a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emmanuel Urruti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of G.R.'s Matheus Toscano. 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Olly May managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akademia Maliqi's supporters rose to their feet, but Olly May was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matheus Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Akademia Maliqi were the better team. Akademia Maliqi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
