Avram Lupoaia was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Žalia Giria's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Avram Lupoaia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raul Zoff quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 6 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's Saúl Gentiletti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Zoff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaques Domtov kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saúl Gentiletti got free with Raul Zoff in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th match minute, FC Žalia Giria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dovydas Varnas to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadmor Netaniyahu in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilmantas Matulas saved FC Žalia Giria from getting behind. Maccabi Netanya's Raul Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Maccabi Netanya from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Tadmor Netaniyahu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilmantas Matulas was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Saúl Gentiletti made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Maccabi Netanya booed when FC Žalia Giria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hikmet Lebib didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dunixi Laurenciano's late challenge caught a FC Žalia Giria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dunixi Laurenciano helped the player get up and apologised. Dunixi Laurenciano kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. FC Žalia Giria's Algitas Kimbartas was substituted for Dovydas Varnas. FC Žalia Giria's Augustinas Baltramaitis was substituted for Saúl Gentiletti. In the 73rd minute, Ramūnas Lipskis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Grealish in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Zoff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, FC Žalia Giria's Vilmantas Matulas got control of the ball when Tadmor Netaniyahu tried to sneak it across the goal line.
