An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 7th minute. In the 11th match minute, FC Žalia Giria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erikas Kiškunas to maneuver through the defense. Erikas Kiškunas hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Jerome Bollaert scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilmantas Matulas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vilmantas Matulas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerome Bollaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saúl Gentiletti's late challenge caught a SazobaSpor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saúl Gentiletti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, FC Žalia Giria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saúl Gentiletti to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerome Bollaert in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vilmantas Matulas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th match minute, SazobaSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Genty to maneuver through the defense. FC Žalia Giria's Jack Grealish was substituted for Vytautas Petkus. A collision led to SazobaSpor getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fernand Genty hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Senio Opazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilmantas Matulas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half SazobaSpor were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With an all-out effort, SazobaSpor's Vilmantas Matulas threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ni Quan Zhen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of SazobaSpor booed when FC Žalia Giria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onur Ali Semi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Vilmantas Matulas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 60th minute, SazobaSpor's Jerome Bollaert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vilmantas Matulas. Vilmantas Matulas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 73rd minute Jerome Bollaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilmantas Matulas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Vilmantas Matulas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Vilmantas Matulas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerome Bollaert. FC Žalia Giria's Augustinas Baltramaitis was substituted for Saúl Gentiletti. In the 82nd minute of the match SazobaSpor got a corner. FC Žalia Giria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eevert Hiltunen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to SazobaSpor's Senio Opazo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SazobaSpor's zone, Jack Grealish stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qurban Äsädli came out of the goal and Jack Grealish tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Vilmantas Matulas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Jack Grealish sped through SazobaSpor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Qurban Äsädli. Conrado Berart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC Žalia Giria fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SazobaSpor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
