Jerry Lodge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arévalo Miñaca in the 14th minute of play. Toto Malaiholo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Guillermo Farré could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Arne Rusterholz made a huge save. 28 minutes into the game, Arévalo Miñaca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jerry Lodge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eitautas Ivoška struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jerry Lodge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geležinis Vilkas. Saulius Grapskis fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 47th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The Valencia C.F. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Geležinis Vilkas were winning 0-1.

53 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arévalo Miñaca came free, but Jerry Lodge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, Geležinis Vilkas's Arévalo Miñaca made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerry Lodge was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jerry Lodge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arévalo Miñaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Saulius Grapskis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valencia C.F. made a substitution. Tuncay Candeğer replaced Alfred Claydon. Arévalo Miñaca scored 0-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerry Lodge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arévalo Miñaca came free, but Jerry Lodge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arévalo Miñaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jerry Lodge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arévalo Miñaca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes, Joe Herring mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valencia C.F. and the Geležinis Vilkas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Joe Herring. Geležinis Vilkas were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Valencia C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eitautas Ivoška took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Eitautas Ivoška got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jerry Lodge quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 87thth minute of the game Arévalo Miñaca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valencia C.F.'s Jerry Lodge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arévalo Miñaca struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jerry Lodge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geležinis Vilkas.
