The crowd rose to their feet as Nojus Bikas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zigrīds Paupers. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BumboTava's zone, Nojus Bikas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zigrīds Paupers came out of the goal and Nojus Bikas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nojus Bikas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Zigrīds Paupers made a huge save. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind BumboTava's goalkeeper Zigrīds Paupers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kings's Haşim Batüralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tabb Bornes in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, BumboTava's goalkeeper Zigrīds Paupers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nojus Bikas. Haşim Batüralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xoan Huguet in the 27th minute of play. Kings were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after BumboTava's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victorino Marko took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Victorino Marko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zigrīds Paupers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Vitālijs Domasēvics managed to get in a good position for a shot. BumboTava's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitālijs Domasēvics was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haşim Batüralp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Kings's Nojus Bikas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zigrīds Paupers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kings's Kristupas Šimkūnas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eduard Martyschuk in the 35 minute of the game. Zigrīds Paupers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nojus Bikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zigrīds Paupers made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Nojus Bikas sent off a good shot on target. Tabb Bornes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haşim Batüralp having to interfere. Håkon Bjernemose hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Kings's Luís Figo was substituted for Rocco Ball. In the 48th minute, Håkon Bjernemose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tabb Bornes made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Krzysztof Soliwoda in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kings's Håkon Bjernemose. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nojus Bikas in the 56th minute of play forced BumboTava's goalkeeper Zigrīds Paupers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BumboTava's Zigrīds Paupers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nojus Bikas in the 58th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elói Siqueira during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes BumboTava got a freekick which was hit by Elói Siqueira. Kings's Bob Grammet was substituted for Edgaras Jankauskas. A collision led to BumboTava getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Elói Siqueira hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Nojus Bikas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zigrīds Paupers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zigrīds Paupers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nojus Bikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Kings's attentive Bob Grammet managed to snatch the ball when Krzysztof Soliwoda made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game.
