In the 13th minute, Templars FC's Staffan Apelqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Benedict Cumberbatch took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-John Telic. Sven-John Telic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Márk Kovács's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-John Telic was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th minute Templars FC were awarded a corner. Staffan Apelqvist went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Benedict Cumberbatch drilling the ball in to score 5-0 behind Liechtenstein City's goalkeeper. 23 minutes into the match, Liechtenstein City's goal looked a bit too open when Staffan Apelqvist came free, but Sven-John Telic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Ritchie Engelborgh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-John Telic. Liechtenstein City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ritchie Engelborgh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 28th minute, Templars FC's Márk Kovács ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven-John Telic. Sven-John Telic yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. Sven-John Telic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedict Cumberbatch in the 30th minute of play. Márk Kovács's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Sven-John Telic skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 32 minutes into the match, Liechtenstein City's goalkeeper Sven-John Telic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedict Cumberbatch. 35 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Burali came free, but André Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márk Kovács might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-John Telic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márk Kovács ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Templars FC's Staffan Apelqvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sven-John Telic. That made the score 8-0 after 38 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedict Cumberbatch in the 40th minute of play forced Liechtenstein City's goalkeeper Sven-John Telic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márk Kovács received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sven-John Telic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Staffan Apelqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-John Telic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Adelino Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Noser was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Márk Kovács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-John Telic having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Márk Kovács made a kick off. Sven-John Telic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márk Kovács, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Igor Burali tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Sven-John Telic. In the 57thth minute of the game Márk Kovács who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liechtenstein City's Sven-John Telic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Márk Kovács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedict Cumberbatch scored 10-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-John Telic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven-John Telic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Staffan Apelqvist went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Ritchie Engelborgh struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Sven-John Telic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Templars FC. Jonathan Sammut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-John Telic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Sven-John Telic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedict Cumberbatch, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute.
