Arūnas Pukelis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Mustafa Kemal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孟振邦 in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Leonard Piechocki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Tomas Danilevičius from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Pavel Romanescu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 47th minute, İsrafil Yağız left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Mintis Vilnius fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Danilevičius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Pegasas Siauliai's 孟振邦 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mustafa Kemal. That made the score 3-2 after 80 minutes of play. Pavel Romanescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Danilevičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute Arūnas Pukelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Romanescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When 孟振邦 came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FC Pegasas Siauliai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 孟振邦 couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Miltos Kotsovolos took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Mustafa Kemal to make any attempt to save it. 95 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Sigitas Jakubauskas came free, but Pavel Romanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FK Mintis Vilnius were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Pegasas Siauliai to leave the ground with a draw.
