Ignatiy Pilievi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serdar Gulson in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignatiy Pilievi saved Football Club Zestafoni from getting behind. The supporters of FC Lëtzebuerg booed when Football Club Zestafoni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khvicha Pulishvili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serdar Gulson struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ignatiy Pilievi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lëtzebuerg. Giorgi Gogava made in the 47th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Valiko Urushadze however managed to control. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ni Wei Yang to strike the kick off in the second half.
