After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ruy Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Şamaxı Bankirlər's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruy Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loïc Payen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serdar Gulson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mänsur Rzayev having to interfere. The wind increased when Oscar Mas made the kick off in the second half. Şamaxı Bankirlər's attentive Akhilendra Murthy managed to snatch the ball when Sandro Baylon made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. The supporters of FC Lëtzebuerg booed when Şamaxı Bankirlər was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Pierz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Oscar Mas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 76th minute Oscar Mas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loïc Payen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Serdar Gulson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mänsur Rzayev. Şamaxı Bankirlər's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serdar Gulson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Juan Badr got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Şamaxı Bankirlər's goal looked a bit too open when Serdar Gulson came free, but Mänsur Rzayev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Druțu Cristian hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Qiu Xi Wen, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Şamaxı Bankirlər fully deserved thier win.
