Shi Guo Wen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petri Romuroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Stanislaw Cempa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BRUGGE FC's Shi Guo Wen. Shi Guo Wen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Imre Szabó in the 39th minute of play forced Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Kevin Mier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, BRUGGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rian Giggs came free, but Shi Guo Wen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite this Kevin Mier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 59th minute Petrigai Guau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Mier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoslaw Zagrodny in the 62nd minute of play forced Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Kevin Mier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabaneta FC's Osmundo Bolde was substituted for Fabian Lawrence. The supporters of Sabaneta FC booed when BRUGGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Thuram didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Sabaneta FC's Rian Giggs made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shi Guo Wen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cássio Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shi Guo Wen having to interfere. Sabaneta FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
