In the 10th minute Zernin Mendivil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Bjurström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Airetupal EXC's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Bastiaro came free, but Maximiliano Orlandus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Airetupal EXC's Maximiliano Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 15th minute of play. Ivar Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Trela in the 17th minute of play. Rigoberto Bastiaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Orlandus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes Airetupal EXC got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Briceño. Maximiliano Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Rigoberto Bastiaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Adam Kos got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31stth minute of the game Zernin Mendivil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Ivar Bjurström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Glorioso Deportivo Cali booed when Airetupal EXC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petri Arberas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rigoberto Bastiaro sped through Airetupal EXC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maximiliano Orlandus.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zernin Mendivil was the one to do the kick off. Zernin Mendivil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Ivar Bjurström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Zernin Mendivil in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Maximiliano Orlandus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petri Arberas made in the 61st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jan Trela immediately put the ball in play. Ivar Bjurström came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Airetupal EXC's Jan Trela. But to his dismay, Jan Trela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Demesio Limpias fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Airetupal EXC's protests and gave Demesio Limpias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, Airetupal EXC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demesio Limpias to maneuver through the defense. Zernin Mendivil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Rigoberto Bastiaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivar Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matro Beyzania in the 79th minute of play. After some careless play in the Airetupal EXC defense, Rigoberto Bastiaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximiliano Orlandus. The Airetupal EXC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximiliano Orlandus should have stopped the shot. When Rigoberto Bastiaro came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Glorioso Deportivo Cali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Bastiaro couldn't finish the play. Esteve Matei hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Petri Arberas in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Alexander Lindholm. In the 95th match minute, Airetupal EXC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petri Arberas to maneuver through the defense. Airetupal EXC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
