Spor Las Huevas's Ascencio Sotelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Pulido in the 37th minute of play. Josué Pinheiro hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Guib Cortina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guib Cortina in the 45th minute of play forced Spor Las Huevas's goalkeeper Ascencio Sotelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Spor Las Huevas made a substitution. Urtzi Zamorano replaced Maxin Ceberiche. Ascencio Sotelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Firmino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
