A collision led to Claretiano FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ruben Malta hit a great ball. Denis Inestrosa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Birila Graña. Claretiano FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's Matthias Kiempe got a free kick in the 7th minute. Jon Fuenmayor kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Zdraşcu came free, but Birila Graña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Claretiano FC's Jon Fuenmayor in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Norino Tostado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Club Olimpia's Fernando Cardozo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Birila Graña made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Cardozo in the 34th minute of play forced Claretiano FC's goalkeeper Birila Graña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Fernando Cardozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Birila Graña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th match minute, Claretiano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Favila Ribadas to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Cardozo to make the kick off. Claretiano FC's Birila Graña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Claretiano FC from getting a goal against them. Alfredo Aguilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Fuenmayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Cardozo came free, but Birila Graña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claretiano FC's Birila Graña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Claretiano FC from getting a goal against them. Birila Graña made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Raka Hadiman sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute Fernando Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birila Graña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's Matthias Kiempe got a free kick in the 79th minute. Claretiano FC's Gelacio Salceda was substituted for Qu Lei Chang. Club Olimpia made a substitution. Luís Fernando Duarte replaced Denis Inestrosa. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Jon Fuenmayor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Claretiano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon Fuenmayor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Aguilar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nelson Haedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Aguilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Fuenmayor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Birila Graña managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The corner led to Club Olimpia's Raka Hadiman getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.
