An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Florinio in the 38th minute of play forced Atlético Grau Piura's goalkeeper Tartalo Delatorre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Oterino came free, but Gustavo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dário Diniz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tartalo Delatorre came out and tried to block the shot, but Dário Diniz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 66th minute. Atlético Grau Piura made a substitution. Ivan Viscarra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Tartalo Delatorre made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, Atlético Grau Piura's Junior Quintana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Club Deportivo Águila got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Gomez. Gustavo Guimarães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Junior Quintana went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Junior Quintana in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
