The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jorrin Briones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 5th minute Jorrin Briones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerim De Bruyne in the 9th minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kerim De Bruyne went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ferenc Tököli made an important save on a dangerous shot by André-Pierre Gignac in the 12th minute. Carlos Eduardo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Schwarzfischer in the 12th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Jorrin Briones made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Eduardo Ramos. Buenaventura FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a little luck, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli got control of the ball when André-Pierre Gignac tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Rapsodas Red Devils FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Schwarzfischer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorrin Briones in the 29th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Américo Oberto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorrin Briones in the 35th minute of the match. Ferenc Tököli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André-Pierre Gignac in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André-Pierre Gignac made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Ziya Di Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Tököli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferenc Tököli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André-Pierre Gignac in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Jorrin Briones took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Carlos Eduardo Ramos to make any attempt to save it. Rapsodas Red Devils FC made a substitution. Jerrold Taranco replaced Luís Paulo da Fonseca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Salah in the 65th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Eduardo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Salah in the 68th minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerrold Taranco in the 71st minute. Cristiano Salah made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 82ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Carlos Eduardo Ramos would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 87th minute Leonardo Colmenares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferenc Tököli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziya Di Maria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buenaventura FC's Carlos Eduardo Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Buenaventura FC from getting a goal against them. Carlos Eduardo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Salah in the 95th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerrold Taranco got free with Carlos Eduardo Ramos in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Rapsodas Red Devils FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rapsodas Red Devils FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
