When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Quiroga made a kick off. Claudio Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Ni Qi Yuan came free, but Apostol Sokolov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arne Iten during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Monitor Huáscar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
