Monitor Huáscar's Modestio Cañucal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Damián Alcazar, made in the 8th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Jorrin Briones came free, but Apostol Sokolov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Claudio Quiroga made a precise shot to the right of Ferenc Tököli. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Carlos Galván hit a great ball. In the 15th match minute, Monitor Huáscar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Galván to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorrin Briones got free with Apostol Sokolov in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jorrin Briones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apostol Sokolov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Jorrin Briones had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apostol Sokolov. Monitor Huáscar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorrin Briones was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute of the match Monitor Huáscar got a corner. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Modestio Cañucal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Quiroga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Jorrin Briones sped through Monitor Huáscar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Apostol Sokolov. Monitor Huáscar's Lin Jing Peng was substituted for Artemio Varas. Rapsodas Red Devils FC made a substitution. Jerrold Taranco replaced Luís Paulo da Fonseca. Apostol Sokolov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Salah in the 67th minute of play. Monitor Huáscar's Nazario Victorica was substituted for Nazario Arechavala. Apostol Sokolov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerrold Taranco, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerrold Taranco in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apostol Sokolov saved Monitor Huáscar from getting behind. Cristiano Salah took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apostol Sokolov. Apostol Sokolov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Claudio Quiroga came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Monitor Huáscar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Quiroga couldn't finish the play. Claudio Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Ferenc Tököli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jerrold Taranco might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apostol Sokolov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerrold Taranco ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Rapsodas Red Devils FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Albert Camus hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Claudio Quiroga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rapsodas Red Devils FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Monitor Huáscar had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
