Modestio Cañucal struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Denis Uzuri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monitor Huáscar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hong Zheng in the 13th minute of play forced Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Apostol Sokolov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When CD SHETTANI's Hong Zheng in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monitor Huáscar's goalie prevented a goal. Claudio Quiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Uzuri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Monitor Huáscar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Quiroga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hong Zheng in the 19th minute of play. When Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD SHETTANI's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute, Oséas Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Quiroga might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Uzuri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Quiroga ran back to his position shaking his head. Apostol Sokolov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ülo Nõmmoja in the 28th minute of play. Claudio Quiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Uzuri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Monitor Huáscar got a corner. CD SHETTANI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Modestio Cañucal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to CD SHETTANI getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Oséas Luz hit a great ball. When Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD SHETTANI's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

CD SHETTANI's Kenneth Aguilar was substituted for Jupp Ota. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hong Zheng was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Claudio Quiroga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monitor Huáscar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 60 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Hong Zheng came free, but Apostol Sokolov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Lin Jing Peng replaced Artemio Varas. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Claudio Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monitor Huáscar's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Uzuri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hong Zheng in the 76th minute of play forced Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Apostol Sokolov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apostol Sokolov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Maciejewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Apostol Sokolov made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Jan Maciejewski sent off a good shot on target. Apostol Sokolov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kenneth Aguilar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 84 minute of play. Apostol Sokolov was a little too slow when Jan Maciejewski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 93rd match minute, Monitor Huáscar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazario Victorica to maneuver through the defense. Denis Uzuri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of CD SHETTANI booed when Monitor Huáscar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nazario Victorica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
