The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes of play, ★ Lobos FC ★'s Haroldo Alfonso made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nery Pumpido was left in no man's land by his defense there! ★ Lobos FC ★'s Svante Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Henry in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Lozano during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 23 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Jansson notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ★ Lobos FC ★'s Svante Valrot. Svante Valrot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Alfonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nery Pumpido made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Haroldo Alfonso sent off a good shot on target. Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroldo Alfonso in the 32nd minute. After 40 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Stanyo Búnkov made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Svante Valrot was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 44 played minutes ★ Lobos FC ★ got a freekick which was hit by Raphaël Varane. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Haroldo Alfonso made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Sven-Edvin Jansson took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Svante Valrot to make any attempt to save it. Svante Valrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Zellier in the 55th minute of the match. After some careless play in the GuateFortín defense, Haroldo Alfonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nery Pumpido. The GuateFortín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nery Pumpido should have stopped the shot. GuateFortín's Eliseo Umanzor was substituted for Máximo Perrone. ★ Lobos FC ★ made a substitution. Kalle Österberg replaced Haroldo Alfonso. In the 67th minute, Roberto Trotta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ★ Lobos FC ★'s Felíx Felix was substituted for Bryan Marant. Roberto Trotta hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Kalle Österberg scored 5-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nery Pumpido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalle Österberg in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, ★ Lobos FC ★'s Svante Valrot got control of the ball when Sven-Edvin Jansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute of the match GuateFortín got a corner. ★ Lobos FC ★'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zico Zellier ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nery Pumpido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kalle Österberg went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanyo Búnkov got free with Svante Valrot in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lorien Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the GuateFortín players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ★ Lobos FC ★.
