The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hong Qing showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Donose got free with Ingolf Ortmark in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anton Donose's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingolf Ortmark read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Stein Van Eyke kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Anton Donose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Totín Morris in the 39th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalkeeper Hong Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Club Atlético Lea Papá made a substitution. Aldo-Pedro Poy replaced Anton Donose. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo-Pedro Poy to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo-Pedro Poy in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingolf Ortmark saved Frente Revolucionario F.C from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Aldo-Pedro Poy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Lea Papá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Frente Revolucionario F.C's Jaime Pérez was substituted for Lorenzo Villalobos. Frente Revolucionario F.C's Monchi Toledano was substituted for Lorenzo Corral. Aldo-Pedro Poy took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingolf Ortmark. Ingolf Ortmark dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Israel Acosta hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ingolf Ortmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Lea Papá defense, Israel Acosta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hong Qing. The Club Atlético Lea Papá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hong Qing should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Hong Qing got control of the ball when Totín Morris tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Club Atlético Lea Papá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Sánchez to maneuver through the defense. Frente Revolucionario F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
