The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bartolo Basualdo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ruy Berger had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Tibor Nyilasi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ALIANZA 1901's zone, Tibor Nyilasi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruy Berger came out of the goal and Tibor Nyilasi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Joao Montanez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruy Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tibor Nyilasi took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruy Berger. Ruy Berger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Tibor Nyilasi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ruy Berger came out and tried to block the shot, but Tibor Nyilasi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tibor Nyilasi in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruy Berger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, ALIANZA 1901's Nicasio Rivadeneira got a free kick in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Tibor Nyilasi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruy Berger. ALIANZA 1901's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tibor Nyilasi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joao Montanez in the 94th minute of play. Joao Montanez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ruy Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Popolizio FBC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
