Spectators: 167 (Terracing: 126, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Onega started the match with the kick off. 11 minutes into the game, Cornelio Omero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nicanor Ascencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 15 minutes of play, El Pulpo Paceño's Daniel Onega made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Quexada was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcelo Quexada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Lluc in the 18th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Aristides Lluc notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of EBK's Marcelo Quexada. Marcelo Quexada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aristides Lluc took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Quexada. Marcelo Quexada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 26th minute of the match Kamil Glik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Quexada showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nicanor Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Colon in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to EBK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Perry Blacksmith hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Flavio Colon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th match minute, EBK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominic Forcat to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in EBK's zone, Kamil Glik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Quexada came out of the goal and Kamil Glik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, El Pulpo Paceño's Aristides Lluc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Quexada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute Aristides Lluc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Quexada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half El Pulpo Paceño were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornelio Omero to make the kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Aristides Lluc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EBK's Marcelo Quexada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aristides Lluc hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Aristides Lluc recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Quexada. Aristides Lluc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Marcelo Quexada was a little too slow when Aristides Lluc got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-6. After a defensive mix-up in EBK's zone, Joseph Lockwood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Quexada came out of the goal and Joseph Lockwood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eusko Zubicoeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, El Pulpo Paceño's Joseph Lockwood sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Quexada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute Joseph Lockwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Quexada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Omero in the 91st minute of play. Daniel Onega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. El Pulpo Paceño's Nicanor Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Omero in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched El Pulpo Paceño eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
