In the 17th minute Elias Carballo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachary Zacharzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Omar Guevara put in a rough tackle. With a little luck, CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge got control of the ball when Edmund Vaik tried to sneak it across the goal line.
