EBK's Marcelo Quexada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save EBK from getting a goal against them. Marcelo Quexada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Suárez in the 11th minute of the match. Renato Otto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Marcelo Quexada made a huge save. Aron Oks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusko Zubicoeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato Otto got free with Marcelo Quexada in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, EBK's goalkeeper Marcelo Quexada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renato Otto. In the 27th match minute, EBK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iban Lalo to maneuver through the defense. Renato Otto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Marcelo Quexada skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Renato Otto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Suárez in the 37th minute of play forced EBK's goalkeeper Marcelo Quexada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Renato Otto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Munat Tayka's supporters rose to their feet, but Renato Otto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Quexada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Quexada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Suárez, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The supporters of Munat Tayka booed when EBK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Colon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, EBK's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Suárez came free, but Marcelo Quexada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Munat Tayka's Aron Oks proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Munat Tayka from getting a goal against them. After 54 minutes Munat Tayka's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cornelio Omero who took care of the corner kick. Marcelo Quexada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Suárez in the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Suárez in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Quexada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Quexada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Suárez's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. EBK's Marcelo Quexada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Suárez in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goal looked a bit too open when Eusko Zubicoeta came free, but Aron Oks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71stth minute of the game Roger Suárez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EBK's Marcelo Quexada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Munat Tayka's Roger Suárez in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EBK's goalie prevented a goal. After 80 played minutes EBK got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Pantea. After having played for 81 minutes, Eliseo Mano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Munat Tayka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Mano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Mano in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Quexada saved EBK from getting behind. Marcelo Quexada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseo Mano's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Marcelo Quexada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Herstad in the 84th minute of play. Munat Tayka were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after EBK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pacho Abechuco took the corner. After taking down the ball on Munat Tayka's corner Pacho Abechuco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelo Quexada quite easily take care of the ball. Eliseo Mano took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Quexada. Marcelo Quexada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 92nd minute of the match Munat Tayka got a corner. EBK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pacho Abechuco ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Pacho Abechuco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Quexada quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Munat Tayka's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
