Aristides Lluc ran back to his position shaking his head. When Svetoslav Genkov fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Pulpo Paceño's protests and gave Svetoslav Genkov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Pulpo Paceño getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Svetoslav Genkov hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the game, Wilmer Guadamuz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LinuX F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Pulpo Paceño the free kick. After a rather tough play, LinuX F.C.'s Wilmer Guadamuz got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9thth minute of the game Aristides Lluc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LinuX F.C.'s Bernardo Arias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Onega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Bernardo Arias made a huge save. With his leg Bernardo Arias managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when El Pulpo Paceño's Daniel Onega fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Frank Soto took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicanor Ascencio. Nicanor Ascencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 22 minutes of play, LinuX F.C.'s Frank Soto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Ascencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicanor Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Soto, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Bernardo Arias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Onega. Nicanor Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Soto in the 35th minute of the match. LinuX F.C.'s Bernardo Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Lluc in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, LinuX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berny Parra to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Lluc in the 43rd minute of the match. Aristides Lluc struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Bernardo Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Pulpo Paceño. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Onega to make the kick off. Nicanor Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Minor Godinez in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, El Pulpo Paceño's goal looked a bit too open when Elmer Lozano came free, but Nicanor Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Pulpo Paceño's Nicanor Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Soto in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Mena in the 61st minute of play forced El Pulpo Paceño's goalkeeper Nicanor Ascencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, El Pulpo Paceño's Svetoslav Genkov got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute of the match, Minor Godinez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicanor Ascencio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Frank Soto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of LinuX F.C. booed when El Pulpo Paceño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Lluc didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, El Pulpo Paceño's Aristides Lluc got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Bernardo Arias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristides Lluc went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the game, Joseph Lockwood cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bernardo Arias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
