In the 18th minute of the match El Pulpo Paceño got a corner. Halcon Sport 69's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kamil Glik ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Halcon Sport 69's goalie and right to Aristides Lluc. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Halcon Sport 69's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 21st minute Aristides Lluc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachary Zacharzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Aristides Lluc made a precise shot to the right of Zachary Zacharzewski. Halcon Sport 69's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Halcon Sport 69 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachary Zacharzewski should have stopped the shot. When Jeremy Montero fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halcon Sport 69's protests and gave Jeremy Montero a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Halcon Sport 69 got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy Montero. Halcon Sport 69's Zachary Zacharzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Lluc in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Halcon Sport 69 defense, Daniel Onega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zachary Zacharzewski. The Halcon Sport 69 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachary Zacharzewski should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Aristides Lluc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zachary Zacharzewski. Halcon Sport 69's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristides Lluc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After the first half El Pulpo Paceño were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Onega to strike the kick off in the second half. Zachary Zacharzewski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aristides Lluc showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 51 minute of play. Daniel Onega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zachary Zacharzewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmund Vaik in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicanor Ascencio saved El Pulpo Paceño from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Onega kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zachary Zacharzewski. That made the score 0-9 in the 62 minute of play. A collision led to El Pulpo Paceño getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Svetoslav Genkov hit a great ball. Zachary Zacharzewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Onega in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the game, El Pulpo Paceño's Daniel Onega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zachary Zacharzewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. 76 minutes into the match, Halcon Sport 69's goalkeeper Zachary Zacharzewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Onega. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Onega in the 79th minute of play forced Halcon Sport 69's goalkeeper Zachary Zacharzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Aristides Lluc dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zachary Zacharzewski, 0-11. El Pulpo Paceño's Joseph Lockwood was substituted for Aristides Lluc. Nicanor Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maureo Magdalena in the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Onega got free with Zachary Zacharzewski in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zachary Zacharzewski made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Daniel Onega sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Joseph Lockwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachary Zacharzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as El Pulpo Paceño's Joseph Lockwood slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zachary Zacharzewski. That made the score 0-12 after 89 minutes of play. Daniel Onega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachary Zacharzewski having to interfere. El Pulpo Paceño played a much better game than Halcon Sport 69 and deserved their victory. The Halcon Sport 69 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
