The referee ignored CS La Libertad's protests and gave Luis Marin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CS La Libertad's Luis Marin got a free kick in the 34th minute. Serafim Caneira got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Serafim Caneira kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Valle Saron's Ernesto Monge threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Madaleno Naveira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gianfranco Saron was the one to do the kick off. Tomasz Komanski's late challenge caught a Valle Saron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomasz Komanski helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Komanski. Niceto Arixo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ernesto Monge. CS La Libertad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chumo Salces in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Volio in the 54th minute of play forced Valle Saron's goalkeeper Emiliano Saron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valle Saron's Emiliano Saron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Valle Saron from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianfranco Saron in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Monge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gianfranco Saron took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Monge. Ernesto Monge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Valle Saron's Joshua Saron was substituted for Gringo Saron. Valle Saron's Pepito Saron was substituted for Chumo Salces. Ted Oso made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arí Saron. In the 74th minute Arí Saron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Monge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Monge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Saron in the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Valle Saron's Emiliano Saron got control of the ball when Miguel Volio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arí Saron blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Monge having to make a save. In the 89th minute Arí Saron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Monge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Arí Saron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Monge. CS La Libertad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arí Saron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Valle Saron fully deserved thier win.
