Made in Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dé Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Pedro Villalaz ran back to his position shaking his head. Dan Gheară stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franklin Agurto's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s Pedro Villalaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Gheară narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Made in Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dé Santos was slow to take the kick. During this time ORION F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Made in Honduras booed when ORION F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kosin Rumbiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Villalaz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 77th minute Dé Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Gheară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Made in Honduras defense, Pedro Villalaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Gheară. The Made in Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Gheară should have stopped the shot. Made in Honduras's Tris Ruddock was substituted for Miguel Villanueva. The audience was convinced that Pedro Villalaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Gheară was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
