If Werner Colvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chico Vass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Werner Colvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Chuquisaca's goalkeeper 赵风青 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zico Zidane. When Werner Colvin came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Chuquisaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Werner Colvin couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Werner Colvin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Chico Vass 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th match minute, Chuquisaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Ebardo to maneuver through the defense. 赵风青 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endre Hegedűs in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, FC Santo Giorgio's goalkeeper Chico Vass had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Werner Colvin. Chico Vass came out of the goal and Werner Colvin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Santo Giorgio's David Herbruger was substituted for Cesare Pirlo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Calderón in the 85th minute of play forced Chuquisaca's goalkeeper 赵风青 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 赵风青 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryland Giggs's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After 92 minutes, Ryland Giggs made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chuquisaca's 赵风青 tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Chuquisaca players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Santo Giorgio from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
