An unexpectedly hard shot by Ascencio Quintas in the 13th minute of play forced Inter Porteño's goalkeeper Peyo Menendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ascencio Quintas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peyo Menendez was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 14th minute of the match Vetusta got a corner. Inter Porteño's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. A sloppy throw-in by Iosu Toxeiro in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Inter Porteño's Yao Ning Zhen. After 26 minutes Vetusta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yao Ning Zhen who took care of the corner kick. Yao Ning Zhen made a great header on Inter Porteño's corner, it was just that Vetusta's Ray De Lauw managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Vetusta's Ray De Lauw got control of the ball when Stasio Kajder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Inter Porteño's Peyo Menendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andresito Sacristán in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Holthuis in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ray De Lauw saved Vetusta from getting behind.
